Kierra Ready is an Indianapolis-based visual artist and art educator. After attending Indiana University and obtaining a degree in Health Sciences, she unexpectedly found a passion for painting- finding artmaking to be a form of mindfulness. Since, she has used art as her outlet and a way to inspire others. Kierra is an entrepreneur and owner of Free Mind Creations, an art based business that makes art more accessible through artmaking workshops, live painting experiences, and mural installation. She is also a recipient of Indiana Arts Commission – Creative Entrepreneur Fellowship Award. Kierra’s philosophy is to leave the world more beautiful than she found it and her purpose is to create a legacy through her artwork.
